When it comes to hating skiers there are still some particular reasons in general why people hate skiers. In particular recently Lindsey Vonn made a statement in an interview that she thought is would be great if there was some separation on the mountain between skiers and snowboarders. There is an attitude still display that creates animosity between skiers and snowboarders.
- In an interview on the Dan Patrick show on ESPN, world-class skier (seriously, she rips) Lindsey Vonn made a statement about how she thought it would be “super great” if there was a little separation on the mountain between skiers and snowboarders.
- While Lindsey Vonn cited some almost viable concerns, they’re still pretty much shit. The attitude displayed is what still creates much of the animosity (where it still exists) between skiers and riders today. So you want to have a different mountain for snowboarders?
- Then give us all the resorts that would have gone out of business had it not been for snowboarding. You seem to forget that skiing was on the decline in participation numbers compared to snowboarding because it was easier to learn how to snowboard than to ski.
“Sure snowboarders can be seen sitting all over the place and we get that. We all hate gapers. However there are just as many skiers sitting (or standing, it’s much easier to stand on skis) on the hill getting in the way as there are snowboarders. You just have a bit of confirmation bias that allows you to turn a blind eye to Little Johnny Fallsalotandcantgetup because he’s on two planks.”
